The property operated as the three-star Hotel Chesa Julier Palace up until shortly before its demolition. Nine top-quality condominiums – three first homes and six second homes – were then created through demolition of the original building and construction of a new one. The condominiums were completed in autumn 2018 at around the same time as the bypass tunnel, which brought new quality of life to the village.
The Chesa Julier Palace project began for Engadin REM AG with the search for investors and acquisition of the original property. Engadin REM AG then assumed responsibility for the project development for the new build. Marketing activities were initiated and the newly constructed apartments sold in parallel. Engadin REM AG managed the project from start to finish.

The property was originally home to the Paravicini family and had a grocery store on the ground floor. It was later sold and used as staff accommodation by a local hotel. Following demolition of the original building in 2013, a new representative building featuring two top-quality condominiums was constructed.
